Marking a Decade of IBM, Voluntara is Present in Lombok and Bandung

Entering a decade of Insan Bumi Mandiri (IBM)’s journey, Voluntara takes place in two locations, namely Lombok and Bandung. Each is packaged in the form of Voluntara Dedicated and Voluntara Lite, adapting to the target location of the activity.

Collaboration for Education and Potential Development of Lombok Youth ala Voluntara Dedicated

Voluntara Dedicated lasted for two days with a focus on school children, youth and teachers in Lombok. By involving six volunteers from across islands and countries such as Makassar, Solo, Bandung, Bekasi, Kalimantan and Malaysia. The entire series of activities was carried out in a participatory manner, where volunteers were actively involved in every activity that took place.

The first series of activities were carried out at MTs and MIS Al-Hidayah, Gunung Mareje Dusun Aik Mual District. sheet, Lombok, which began with handing over shoes to the students. This moment brings special happiness to students who need shoes because school children don’t have shoes. The handover is carried out at the beginning of the activity so that the children can feel comfortable during the Voluntara activity.

In Voluntara Dedicated, the target of activities is aimed at students, teachers and local youth. The focus of activities with school students is simple education that can be applied in everyday life through interactive media. The focus of activities with school teachers can be the transfer of knowledge and approaches to teaching in rural areas. Meanwhile, for local youth, it is a strategic step to create local hero through basic leadership training and digital storytelling.

Activities at school with students are designed to provide education and understanding to children regarding the goals they want to achieve through interesting media as well as an understanding of the use of the 4 magic words such as please, sorry, excuse me and thank you so that children get used to using these words.

The process of drawing and writing the ideals that school children want to achieve

Apart from activities with students, Voluntara Dedicated also involves teachers. Volunteers held sharing, reflection and discussion sessions with MTs and MIS Al-Hidayah teachers regarding the challenges of teaching amidst limitations, perspectives on success that are not limited to certain professions, as well as the use of natural resources and village conditions as an approach to learning.

Approaching local Lombok youth is also part of the series of activities. They are involved as potential program drivers through basic leadership training, solution to problempreparation action planand training digital storytelling. The entire Voluntara Dedicated series was welcomed by children, teachers and youth, and is expected to provide benefits to society.

Director of Insan Bumi Mandiri, Zulfa Faizah, explained, “At MI and MTs Al Hidayah, we see the children’s enthusiasm for learning is very high despite various existing limitations. The teachers continue to strive to provide varied learning methods amidst the challenges they face. Through Voluntara Dedicated, we are trying to provide a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. Even though it lasts for a short time and cannot yet have a big impact, it is hoped that this activity can become a meaningful learning space for them.”

Voluntara Becomes a Space for Expression in Bandung City

On the other hand, with a different location, Voluntara Lite was held for one day and was attended by eight volunteers from various regions such as Bandung, Jakarta, Bekasi, Depok and South Tangerang who together fully participated in a series of activities in Bandung. Voluntara Lite is a space to share enthusiasm for cancer fighting children at the Rumah Cinta Anak Cancer Foundation, Bandung.

Various activities are designed to be fun as well as learning spaces, through healing and art therapy approaches. Activities such as “Hope Puzzle”, “Treasure Hunt”, and “My Totebag, My Color”. The warmth of the activity can be felt from the smiles of the children, with volunteers who faithfully accompany them every moment.

Paintings by children fighting cancer to describe their feelings today

The activities designed aim to encourage children to express their dreams, learn to love the environment, and express their feelings through creative work. Enthusiasm can be seen from the various ideals they share, from doctors to painters, which are their hopes for the future.

“Voluntara, for me, left a meaningful impression, because this was the first time I had met young cancer fighters who had extraordinary dreams, namely of becoming a doctor. When asked why they wanted to become a doctor? Adik answered loudly that he wanted to cure many people,” said Sapitri, one of the volunteers involved in Voluntara Lite.

Apart from that, parents are also involved through mentoring sessions with psychologists. This session is a safe space to share while providing education about stress, resilience, and raise children with care in a warm and reflective atmosphere.

“We are very grateful to Insan Bumi Mandiri for this activity. Voluntara provides a glimmer of happiness for children as well as a meaningful space for parents to share. We hope that activities like this can continue,” said Mrs. Faridah, Trustee of the Rumah Cinta Anak Cancer Foundation.

In the future, Voluntara is expected to continue to develop as a collaborative space involving volunteers, the community and various parties, so that the benefits presented can reach a wider and more sustainable reach.

In line with this, Insan Bumi Mandiri (IBM) will continue to strive to present programs that are relevant to the needs of society in various regions of Indonesia, through a participatory and collaboration-based approach.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
