Iradah (Will) is one of the characteristics of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala which is always present in Him. The salaf have agreed that iradah is His constant characteristic and it is the essential will that is in accordance with the majesty of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. It is divided into two types:

First: Iradah kauniyyah (the will of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala which must happen in the universe) or also called masyi’ah. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says:

Whoever Allah wants to guide, He opens his heart to Islam.

“Whoever wants to be guided by Allah, then He will open his chest to (embrace) Islam.” (QS. Al-An’am: 125).

This type of will will definitely happen, whether it is something that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala likes or not.

Second: Iradah syar’iyyah (the will of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in accordance with His Shari’a). Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says:

And God wants to accept your repentance

“And Allah will accept your repentance.” (QS. An-Nisa: 27). This type of desire does not have to happen, and can only be things that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala likes.

There are many benefits in a servant’s life when he knows that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has the right will that is in accordance with His majesty. Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Utsaimin Rahimahullah said: Two benefits we can gain from our knowledge of the will of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in our lives:

First benefit: We rely on our hopes, fears, and all our circumstances and practices only on Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, because everything happens according to His will. This will create our attitude of trust.

Second benefit: We do what Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala wants according to the Shari’a. When we know that something is the will of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in His Shari’a and He likes it, then this will strengthen our steadfastness in carrying it out.

Many texts state that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala desires goodness for some groups of people and a servant should make efforts and pray to his Lord to be included in that group, and remain patient and pleased when things happen that he does not like as long as Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has predestined him and wants goodness for him. And among the groups whose goodness is desired by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala are:

1. People who are generous in carrying out Islamic teachings with joy and happiness:

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says:

Whoever Allah wants to guide, He opens his chest to Islam, and whoever He wants to mislead, He makes his chest narrow and clumsy, as if he were ascending to the sky.

“Whoever Allah wants to guide, He will open his chest to (embrace) Islam. And whoever He wants to mislead, He will make his chest narrow and tight, as if he were ascending to the sky.” (QS. Al-An’am: 125).

Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Utsaimin said: “The Word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala: ‘Whoever Allah wishes to receive guidance, surely He will open his chest to (embrace) Islam’ This means, what is meant by testament here is kauniyyah testament, and what is meant by guidance is guidance taufiq (guidance that makes a person accept the right path), so that you find yourself open to Islamic law and the Shari’a, carry it out with easy, happy, and light.

If you find this in yourself, then know that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala wants good for you, wants guidance for you. However, whoever is narrow in heart – nau’dzubillah – then this is a sign that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala does not want guidance for him, because if it is not so, he will certainly be broad in heart.”

2. People who are given taufik to repent from their sins before dying, and are enthusiastic about doing good deeds of obedience and then die in that condition

It was narrated from Abu Umamah Radhiyallahu ‘anhu that Rasulullah SAW said:

If Allah desires good for a servant, then He purifies him before his death. They asked: Is a servant purified? He answered: A pious deed that inspired him to do it until he got it.

“If Allah wants good for a servant, then He will purify him before he dies.” The friends asked: “What is meant by purifying a servant?” He answered: “It was indeed a pious deed that Allah inspired in him until He died for that deed.” (HR. Ath-Thabrani in Al-Kabir).

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik Radhiyallahu ‘anhu that Rasulullah SAW said:

If Allah wants good for a servant, He uses it. It says: How does He use it? He said: He will guide him to do good deeds before death.

“When Allah wants good for a servant, He will use it.” He was then asked: “How did God use him?” And he answered: “He gave him taufik to do good deeds before he died.” (HR. At-Tirmidhi).

The scholars explained: “This means that by giving him taufik before he dies so that he repents and diligently does good deeds and stays away from things that violate religion, then dies on top of that, he is given a great reward for his small deeds.”

3. A family that is gentle in words and actions

It was narrated from Ummul Mu’minin Aisyah Radhiyallahu ‘anha that the Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

If Allah wants goodness for a family, then He bestows goodness on them.

“If Allah wants good for a family, then He will add tenderness to them.” (HR. Ahmad).

Imam Al-Munawi Rahimahullah said: “Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala instilled in them an attitude of gentleness, namely being gentle towards each other.

4. A leader who has pious friends, if the leader is negligent, he reminds him, if he remembers, he helps him

It was narrated from Ummul Mu’minin Aisyah Radhiyallahu ‘anha that the Prophet Subhanahu wa Ta’ala said:

If God wants good for the prince, He will make him an honest minister. If he forgets, he reminds him, and if he remembers, he helps him, and if Allah wills otherwise, He makes for him an evil minister. If he forgot, he wouldn’t remind him, and if he remembered, he wouldn’t help him.

“If Allah wants good for a leader, then He will give him an honest minister, if the leader forgets, then his advisor will remind him, and if he remembers, then he will help him. (HR. Abu Dawud).

The scholars explained: This means that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala gave him a minister who was devout, honest, and always advised him and his people.

5. People who understand the religion of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala

It was narrated from Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan Radhiyallahu ‘anhu that Rasulullah SAW said:

Whoever Allah desires goodness, He will make him understand religion.

“Whoever Allah wishes for good, He will give him understanding in religion.” (HR. Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Al-Hafizh Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani rRahimahullah said: “What is understood from this hadith is that whoever is not given understanding in religion – namely by studying the rules of the Islamic religion and the derived sciences related to it – then he has been prevented from goodness.”

3. People whose punishment is hastened in the world

It was narrated from Anas Radhiyallahu ‘anhu that Rasulullah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala said:

If Allah desires good for His servant, then He will hasten his punishment in the world, and if He desires evil for His servant, then He will restrain his sin until he repays it. On doomsday

“If Allah desires good for a servant, then He will hasten his punishment in the world. And if He desires evil for a servant, He will withhold (punishment) for his sins until He repays him on the Day of Resurrection.” (HR. At-Tirmidhi).

The scholars say: “If Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala desires goodness for His servant, then He will speed up his punishment with various things that He does not like, and inflict on him various calamities and trials in the world, so that he leaves the world without carrying any more sin.

It was also narrated from Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu ‘anhu that the Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

Whoever Allah wishes goodness from, He will receive goodness from him.

“Whoever Allah wishes good for him, He will bring disaster to him.” (HR. Al-Bukhari).

Al-Hafizh Ibn Hajar said: “This means that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala gave him a disaster so that he would be rewarded for that disaster. In these hadiths there is great good news for every believer, because humans in general are not immune to pain due to illness, anxiety, and so on, while illness, as well as pain and agony, both in the soul and body can erase the sins of the person who experiences it.”

O Allah, make us among those whom You desire goodness, O Most Merciful.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
