Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala commands us various acts of worship so that we can purify our souls and repair our hearts. If the soul is clean, then it will definitely get good luck and safety, as Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says:

Whoever purifies it, he is the one who succeeds

“Blessed is the person who purifies (his soul).” (QS. Ash-Shams: 5).

Hajj is a great worship that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala makes as a cleanser, educator and forgiveness for the sins of His servants. However, many people see worship – including the Hajj – as an expression of faith and a means to gain reward, that’s all. Even though the facts are not like that. Apart from being a form of faith and a means of obtaining rewards, worship is also a guide that guides a servant on this winding path of life. In it there is the realization of true balance between worldly practices and spiritual practices.

Meanwhile, the Hajj journey is a miniature of life’s journey in a matter of days. He went from the country he already knew to another country, namely the best country. Then carry out worship and obedience in a certain manner. He moved from one place to another, living with many people of various skin colors, nationalities and countries. Always accompany them to walk and stay, wake up and sleep, eat and drink. After that they separated again. Such is life.

The Hajj pilgrimage has lost its true meaning from the hearts of many people, the meaning that leads Hajj pilgrims to the purification of their souls with this great worship. When we look at the means of purifying the soul through Hajj, we find that there are three stages, namely before the Hajj is carried out, during the Hajj, and after.

These facilities can be applied in every worship, and the details are as follows:

First: A means of purifying the soul before worship

  • Devoting worship to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, namely by intending the worship solely for Him, not for riya, sum’ah, or other worldly goals, but for Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. Pay attention to the words of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala regarding the realization of sincerity in the Hajj:

And complete the Hajj and Umrah for the sake of Allah

“And complete the Hajj and Umrah for the sake of Allah.” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 196). And Rasulullah SAW said:

Whoever performs the Hajj for the sake of Allah, and does not commit any obscene or immoral acts, he will return as he was on the day his mother gave birth to him.

“Whoever performs the Hajj for the sake of Allah, and does not speak dirty words and does not commit immorality, then he returns (in a state clean from sin) as on the day he was born to his mother.”

  • Follow the Prophet’s guidance and imitate his example in every pilgrimage. In other words, you are pursuing the most perfect form of practice carried out by the Prophet SAW during his Hajj. Instead of looking for relief and excuses that can cancel worship and practice.

Always know that you are pursuing a great goal in your Hajj, namely: “The Mabrur Hajj has no reward except heaven.” So you should not miss the goodness and perfection of your Hajj by looking for relief and wasting the obligations that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has assigned to you. Therefore, you must study the laws of Hajj by reading books about the correct Hajj procedures, listening to studies, and so on.

  • Train yourself to perform the Hajj, by performing Umrah more than once. This also happens in every worship service. Sharia presents sunnah worship from a similar type of obligatory worship. In general, it is intended as training and habituation to carry out mandatory worship. For example, the sunnah prayers for obligatory prayers and many sunnah fasts in the month of Sha’ban to prepare for welcoming Ramadan. We also find this in the Hajj pilgrimage, by familiarizing ourselves with the Umrah. The Prophet said:

Umrah to Umrah is atonement for sins between the two, and the Hajj that is accepted has no reward except heaven.

“The umrah pilgrimage to the next umrah is an atonement for the sins between them, and a hajj pilgrimage that is mabrur has no reward for him except heaven.”

Pay attention to how the Prophet compared Umrah with Hajj in gaining rewards, and starting with Umrah, so that Umrah is a means to understand and appreciate the Hajj pilgrimage, so that a servant can achieve the rewards of Hajj. The Prophet also said:

Continuation between Hajj and Umrah

“Accompanying Hajj and Umrah.” And the meaning of this hadith becomes clearer in the context of previous hadiths.

  • Observing the virtues of the Hajj and making our souls long for the Holy Land, through verses, hadiths and sayings from scholars that inspire enthusiasm for the pilgrimage to the Temple. Pay attention to Prophet Ibrahim’s prayer about people’s love for Mecca:

So that it makes people’s hearts yearn for it.

“Then make the hearts of some people incline towards them.” (QS. Ibrahim: 37).

And it could be that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala has ordained in the human heart a feeling of love and inclination towards Baitullah.

Second: A means of purifying the soul when performing worship

  • Always be steadfast in sincerity and obedience to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, and present it in every practice, especially as the meaning of monotheism is very clear in the Hajj. Pay attention to the words of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala regarding Ibrahim:

And when We appointed Abraham the place of the House: “Do not associate anything with Me.”

“And (remember), when We appointed the place of Allah’s House for Ibrahim (by saying): ‘Do not associate anything with Me.'” (QS. Al-Hajj: 26).

Also pay attention to monotheism in the Prophet’s talbiyah words, his prayers on the hills of Shafa, Marwah, and other places of Hajj. It is also reported that while wearing ihram, he taught people about sincerity to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, without paying attention to worldly pleasures and human praise. Anas said: “The Prophet performed the Hajj with a worn saddle and a velvet cloth that cost less than four dirhams, he prayed: ‘O Allah, make this Hajj not contain riya and sum’ah.'”

  • Following the example of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam who has taught the people how to carry out these obligations. He performed the Hajj with his people and said to them:

So that you can carry out your rituals from me

“You should learn from me the procedures for your Hajj.”

  • Distance yourself from everything that prevents a person from optimizing the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage, namely by staying away from disobedience and sin. “So he must not utter dirty words (rafat), commit immoral acts, and argue during (the time of) Hajj.” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 197).

Also stay away from all things that are forbidden when he is in ihram, because these are all forms of the glory of the Hajj and the rituals he performs. Therefore, people who glorify the teachings of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala will be awarded piety and good deeds. “That is (God’s command). And whoever glorifies God’s command, then indeed it arises from piety of the heart.” (QS. Al-Hajj: 32).

  • Stop at the places where the Hajj is carried out, and appreciate the history, meaning and connection with monotheism, trust and the majesty of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. The Prophet said:

Stand on feelings; For it is the inheritance of your father Abraham.

“Stop at these places where the Hajj is carried out, because they are part of the inheritance of your father, Ibrahim.

Pay attention to the differences between Shafa and Marwah, remember the story of Prophet Ibrahim’s family and how Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala glorified them, immortalized their history, and made the Hajj according to their way.

Also pay attention to pradaksina, and remember that Prophet Ibrahim and other prophets circled this House, also hoping and praying to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. Also remember Baitul Makmur which is exactly in line with it in the sky, the angels also surround it there, and if one angel goes there, he will not return again until the Day of Judgment. While being able to return to Baitullah many times. Remember and compete with the pious servants of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in doing pious deeds.

The more grateful one is for the Hajj pilgrimage, the closer a person will be to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, and will know the extent of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala’s blessings bestowed upon him in carrying out his Hajj.

  • Be patient in facing the difficulties faced by Hajj pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage. However, when he knows the magnitude of the reward, all that tiredness will seem trivial. Therefore, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala forbids things that can reduce reward, He said: “So let him not speak dirty words (rafat), commit immorality, and argue during (during) Hajj.” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 197). Note how disputes and debates can prevent a person from gaining many great rewards.

Third: A means of purifying the soul after worship

  • Introspect yourself, and ask him about everything between the beginning and the end of your worship, did Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala forgive my sins? Does He accept my practice? Is my Hajj mabrur?
  • Be kind to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala in accepting your worship. Know that good faith in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala requires you not to be shaken by the grace of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala which has covered your mistakes.
  • Don’t invite yourself to disobey Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala because there are some people who, when they are praying or almost completing it, start thinking about the sins and disobedience that they have just repented of. Subhanallah! Is this a form of gratitude for the blessings of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala who has given you taufik and guidance, and made it easy for you to become one of the pilgrims, then you intend to commit sin again even though you have not left His great House! We ask for Your forgiveness, O Allah!
  • O people who have repented, strengthen yourselves in your repentance and repentance. Pray to your Lord: “O Lord, do not make this the end for me to be in Your House. Make us people who perform the Hajj and Umrah with forgiveness of sins and healing of our hearts.”

Cover

There were pious people who cried when the congregation left. He muttered in his heart: “Oh, how sad!” He was sad because he could not perform the pilgrimage to Baitullah. Then he said: “This is the sadness of people who are cut off from Baitullah, so what about people who are cut off from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala?”

I ask Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala not to forbid us from performing the pilgrimage to Baitullah, enjoying the blessings of praying to Him, and getting closer to Him from year to year. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala accept all our deeds.

Shalawat and greetings may always be abundant to His servant and prophet, Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wassalam, as well as to his family and friends.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
