This question may be a bit philosophical, but this is a valid question, why are we sick?! This question may be asked by the doctor for his students as an introduction to explain the cause of the sensory material of this disease, but here I ask what is greater than that, in other words: Why did God find the disease? And why does this disease affect us and suffocate our smiles, and we look for depression, thoughts, pain and pain?! First of all, you must know that this life has created God in a run that runs on all humans, no different and has not changed through time and age, from this sunnah that God befalls His servants well and evil; To examine them and test; The Almighty person says:﴿ and we will bless you with evil and kindness. [الأنبياء: 35]So, I will talk to you about some wisdom and benefits for disease:

At first glance, this question looks a little philosophical, but the question that deserves to be asked is, “Why are we sick?” This question may sometimes be asked by the doctor to his students as an opening explanation of the causes of physical disease. However, here I ask about something bigger than that, with other phrases, why did God create disease? And why do we have the disease, so that we strangle our smile, then make us sink into sadness, burden of mind, and pain and pain?

First of all, we must know that this life God created with the rules that apply to all humans. These rules are always the same and have never changed throughout the ages. Among these rule is God tests His servants with good and bad things, as filters and tests for them. Allah Ta’ala said:

And we are blessed with evil and kindness.

“We test you badly and well as a trial. For you, you will be restored.” (Surah Al-Anbiya: 35).

Let me tell you some of the wisdom and benefits of this disease:

• Extraction of danger slavery; That is, God is blessed and elevated, extracting from slavery patients damage by his illness, and bad slavery is patience and surrender, refraction and insult of God, and fragmentation between hands and questions, and this great heart work achieved only by trial; He, hopefully God’s prayers and peace are on him, saying: (((wondering -asking about the commands of believers, if all the commands are good, and that is not for anyone except for believers;

Everything contains goodness

  • Develop slavery from things that you don’t like.
    That is, Allah Tabaraka wa Ta’ala will foster an attitude of slavery from unpopular with this disease. And this slavery is patience, compliance, dependence, and compliance with God, and in front of him and begged him. These great practices will not be able to exist except with the trial. Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam said:

Asking about the orders of believers, everything is good and not for anyone except for believers, if he suffers from secret it is better for him

“It’s amazing the business of believers. Indeed, all his businesses are good, and that is not owned except by believers. When he finds his help, he is grateful and it is good for him, and when he gets a disaster he is patient and it is good for him.”

• Redemption of sins and evil: this disease is a reason for the redemption of your sins that you committed with your heart and hearing, your eyesight, your tongue, and the rest of your wanderer; He, hopefully God’s prayers and peace will accompany him, said: “There are no Muslims who suffer from illness, so what else, unless God puts his bad deeds, when the tree landed his leaves”); [متفق عليه]And he, hopefully God’s prayer and peace will accompany him, said: “(Misery is still in the language of trust and believers in himself, His sons, and His money, until God is thrown and what he has is sin)); [رواه الترمذي]Consider here how Mustafa, may God blesn him and give him peace, declare the Word: (He is silent), about the eternity and sustainability of several diseases, so he pays attention to the punishment for this continuation: (until God is thrown and what He has is sin), and in this case God’s justice, goodness, and compassion, compassion, is proof.

  • Remove sins and mistakes.
    Disease is a means to eliminate your sins that have been made by the heart, hearing, vision, oral, and all your limbs. Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam said:

No Muslim suffers from him, illness, so what is it, unless God has been given to him, as surrounded by trees and tenderness.

“This is not the suffering of Muslims or others, but God will eliminate his mistakes when the tree drops his leaves.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim Clocks). Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam also said:

What is allowed for believers and believers themselves, their sons and money until God will be delivered and what is wrong with Him

“Experiments will always befall believers and a woman for himself, his descendants, and his wealth, until he faces God without bringing sin.” (Hours in Tirmidzi).

Look at how the Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam uses the word “always” as an expression of extension and continuously some diseases. Then see the gift from the trial, “Until he faces God without sin.” From here, justice, tenderness, and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.

Heaven is buried with misfortune:

• Disease is the cause of entering heaven; Heaven is only achieved by what the soul hates; As in the hadith: ((Heaven is buried with its perception)); [متفق عليه]And the Prophet, hopefully God’s prayer and peace will accompany him, say to a woman who is ashamed: ((if you want, you will be patient and you are heaven)); [متفق عليه]And in the Hadith Qudsi: ((if I befall my servant with his love, then he will be patient, and he managed to get out of heaven)); [رواه البخاري]Facials, Diseases and Sorrows are a reason to enter heaven.

Heaven is surrounded by things that are not liked

  • Disease is the cause of entering heaven.
    Heaven cannot be achieved except with things that are not liked by lust, as mentioned in the hadith:

Heaven is buried with heaven

“Heaven is surrounded by things that are not liked.” (HR. Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam also said to a woman with a seizure, “If you want, be patient and you will get heaven.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim Clocks).

It was also mentioned in the Hadith of Qudsi, “When I test my servant in both eyes, then he is patient, then I will replace him with the two with heaven.” (Al-Bukhari Clock). So, all tests, diseases, and sadness are the causes of heaven.

• The servant returned to his Lord, reminded him of his disobedience, and woke him up from his negligence: illness and disaster responded to servant who did not realize his God, and stop him from his disobedience; Because if God happens to him with illness or other people, he feels his weaknesses, insults and poverty to his master, and reminds his shortcomings, then he returns to him regret; The Almighty person says:﴿ and we send us to a country before you, so we take it with misfortune and danger, maybe they will spread. [الأنعام: 42]; Al -tabari, may God forgive him, said: “We have really enjoyed poverty and place to live. Maybe they beg me, and they will be saved to be worshiped.”

  • Returning a servant to his Lord and reminds him of his actions and develops it from negligence.
    Disease and disaster will return a slave to his Lord and stop him from acting, because when God tests him with illness or other people, he will feel the weakness, humility, and disobedience before God, and He remembers his negligence in his obligations, until he returned to God in a state of regret. Allah Ta’ala says:

We sent us to a country before you, so we brought it with misfortune and danger.

“Indeed, we have sent (the apostles) to the people before you, (QS. Al-An’am: 42). Imam Ath-Thabari Rahimahullah said,” We test them with poverty and serious illness, so that they can submit to me and devote my worship to me. “

You are not your suffering to recover you!

• This is a decision and secret of the disease that comes out of the heart of the human soul; Such as arrogance, arrogance, admiration and heroes, and shrinking the hearts of people and their strengths, and others, God can befall someone with illness in his body; To care for his heart from a hidden disease that he is controlled, and may be heart disease has been preserved in his world and finally, so that God will befall him with the disease to survive and switch from diseases in his heart; Therefore, Ibn Al -Qayyim, may God forgive him, say: “If it was not for the tone of the world and disaster, the servant would be injured from the drug of arrogance and wonders, branches and cruelty of the heart, what is the reason for its destruction to be urgent or slower.”

God does not test you except to give you salvation!

Among the wisdom and secret of this disease is to produce heart disease from the human soul, such as pride, arrogance, self -esteem, and high heart, underestimate others, and so on. Sometimes God tests someone with a disease in his body, so that his heart is cured of hidden diseases attached to him, which even liver disease can destroy the world and the hereafter, so that God tests him with the disease, so that he can save him and eliminate his disease from his heart. Therefore, Ibn Al-Qayyim Rahimahullah said, “If it wasn’t for the world’s tests and trials, it would be that I would be arrogant, arrogant, arbitrary, and hard-hearted.

These are some disease decisions, and God is in all things that suffer and influence wisdom that exceeds human understanding and their awareness, and believers must surrender to God in all cases. Sufyan Al -hawri said: “This is not a jurisprudence of those who are no longer blessings, and prosperity is a disaster.” Ibn Al -Qayyim, may God forgive him, say:

That’s the wisdom of disease. God has wisdom in every test and trials that He gives is far higher than what can be understood and digested by people. As for believers must surrender to God in every situation. When you know why God gives you a disease, you must carry out His commands, give up on his decisions, and Rida with His fate and his decision. What comes from the most loving, gentle all good and grace, although some are not liked by ourselves. Sufyan Ats-Tsauri said, “Not including religious people, those who do not consider disaster as pleasure and prosperity as a disaster.”

Ibn al-Qayyim Rahimahullah said, “Ridalah to God in all things that God did to you, because he did not prevent you from something but to give you, he did not give you a disaster but to give you salvation, and he did not give you a disease but to heal you, and he did not turn off you but to turn on you again. ignored from His eyes. “
