Unhasy students win champions in the National Competition Stocklab UNP Kediri 2025

Tebuireng.online- The proud achievement was re -inscribed by the University of Hasyim Asy’ari (Unhasy) Tebuireng, Jombang at the National Stocklab Competition 2025 competition organized by the University of Nusantara PGRI (UNP) Kediri, with the theme “Learn to Win, Invest to Grow: Discover The Future of Finance Through The Game of Stocklab” (07/26/2025).

Two students of the Unhasy Faculty of Economic Accounting S1 Study Program succeeded in bringing home the title. The student was Ilham Shofiyulloh, a 7th semester student, who was successful in the second winner, and his colleague, Dina Setiya Ermawati won third place. Both are active members of the Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange Investment Gallery (GI BEI) Unhasy.

When interviewed on, Ilham expressed his gratitude and happiness for this achievement. “It’s amazing, because in addition to getting 2nd place after participating in the Stocklab competition on several other campuses before, I can also talk and familiarize myself directly with KSPM colleagues from various campuses that participated,” he said.

Ilham added, that this competition gave him an opportunity to broaden insight and establish friendship. “I can discuss about the capital market through good communication with KSPM GI BEI from other universities. This is a motivation for me and other friends,” he explained.

To take part in this event, Ilham did routine exercises at the GI Bei FE Unhasy Lab, as well as casual discussions at the cafe or through online applications. He also told his biggest challenge was the participants who had won this event.

“The biggest challenge is participants from other campuses who have often received awards in relevant branches, as well as planning strategies carried out by considering the opponent’s strategy to the unapted variable during the competition,” he added.

Meanwhile, Dina Setiya Ermawati, who won third place, also claimed to be very proud of this achievement. “This is the first time I have been able to win the match by winning the 3rd level of the national level. Previously I had participated in several stocklab competitions on other campuses, but only survived in the second stage,” he said.

Dina also told that her motivation to take part in the competition was to deepen the understanding of the capital market and expand the friendship network between campuses. He also routinely practices with KSPM friends to prepare himself as much as possible.

According to him, the main challenge in this competition is the ability to predict the value of shares and deal with more experienced participants. “The first participant who is experienced and more reliable in this stocklab game and the second is to predict the shares we choose whether to have a high or low value,” he explained.

After obtaining this teaching, Dina hopes to get it again in the future. “My hope after achieving this achievement hopefully in the future I can win the race again both in this field and in other fields,” he concluded.
