Tebuireng.online— In order to complete the Final Semester Examination (UAS) Dance and Music Arts Course, Students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) Hasyim Asy’ari University (Unhasy) Tebuireng successfully held a musical drama with the theme of the Nusantara Culture which collaborated with MI Al-Adnani students. This activity took place in the courtyard of the Al-Adnani Kayangan Mosque Diwek Jombang, on Monday (5/19/2025).
The Chairperson of the Activity, Shofia, explained that the main purpose of this performance was to fulfill the assignment of the course as well as part of the final semester research. “The main goal is to fulfill the dance and music arts courses used for end semester 2 research,” he explained.

The event was opened with qira’ah delivered by MI Al-Adnani students, followed by remarks and performances. Also present at the opening ceremony were lecturers of courses, Ratih Asmarani, M.Pd., Head of PGMI Unhasy, Ali Mahsun, M.Pd, Imam Muslih, M.Pd., Vian Hanes, M.Pd.I, Lailatul Qomariyah, Uswatun, and MI Al-Adnani teachers.
In this show students have a contribution as a coach while MI Al-Adnani students are the characters in the drama. This collaboration, according to Shofia, can be realized after students submit an application to the school and get full support.
The preparation for this performance takes approximately two months, starting in February, two weeks before the month of Ramadan, then resumed in April after the Ramadan holiday. The selection of Mi Al-Adnani as an activity partner is not without consideration. According to Shofia and the group initially felt a little difficulty in determining the school that could accept the group well.

When asked about the enthusiasm of Mi Al-Adnani students as drama players, Shofia said that both students and students showed extraordinary enthusiasm. “The students were enthusiastic, it could be said to be enthusiastic because the participants wore interesting make-up and costumes,” he said.
Shofia also revealed that this performance gave a deep impression for students. In addition to adding insight, this activity also trains their patience and teaching skills directly.
“The impression is good enough to add experience and insight to students how to teach and practice patience in dealing with students,” he concluded.
