Mosba finished, students are expected to be ready to live the learning stage

Tebuireng.online– The series of activities for the New Santri Orientation Period (Mosba) at Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School officially closed on Monday, July 7, 2025. The closing ceremony held at the mosque and the Pondok Putra courtyard was attended by coordinators of the Trustees, Management, Head of Putra Putra and Deputy, and Mudir Pondok Coaching, H. Lukman Hakim. Also present was the caregiver of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, KH. Abdul Hakim Mahfudz.

The closing of Mosba became a marker of the end of a series of orientation activities that lasted for three days, since July 5. In his remarks, H. Lukman Hakim said that the new students will now enter the learning phase at the pesantren.

“After this Mosba activity, we will enter the learning stage at Islamic boarding schools. We hope that the students can learn well and follow all the existing rules, both in the cottage and in schools,” he said.

He stressed that the learning process in pesantren not only includes academic aspects, but also includes practicing Islamic values ​​that have been introduced during the orientation period.

“This is what we really expect as your ideals. Hopefully with this introduction through this Mosba, students have a strong foothold to learn in an orderly and serious manner. Our hope, these values ​​are not only memorized, but are actually carried out and realized,” he continued.

H. Lukman also reminded that a santri must always draw closer to Allah SWT so that the learning process is blessed and facilitated. He appealed to the students not to leave daily practices such as Wirid and prayers after prayer.

“Learning alone is not enough. We must also draw closer to Allah SWT by reading Wiridan and Prayer led by the Imam. Do not let the practice be abandoned, because it is also part of the learning process at the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School,” he said.

With the end of Mosba’s activities, it is hoped that new students will be able to adjust and live the life of the pesantren with a spirit, discipline, and a strong spiritual spirit.
