Bobon Santoso revealed the impression of cooking with 2000 Santri Tebuireng

Tebuireng.online– About two thousand Tebuireng students, simultaneously gathered enthusiastically to attend a special event titled “Cooking together” initiated by Airnav Indonesia presenting a famous culinary influencer, Bobon Santoso. The event was also attended by the caregiver of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, KH. Abdul Hakim Machfudz, and Capt. Avirianto Supratno, S.Pd., MM, President Director of PT. Airnav Indonesia, as the main collaborator in the activity.

Wearing all -white clothes and black cap, Bobon Santoso looked excited in front of a rising giant pan. He cooked directly in the middle of the crowd of students who welcomed with cheers full of enthusiasm. When met on the sidelines of the activity, Bobon revealed that this was the first time he cooked in the pesantren environment.

“Sleeping together with santri, built by Ustadz Trustees as well. I was oversized to be sprayed with water, then we also had the Tahajud Prayer, then there was also learning prayers, we all tried it,” he said with laughter, Monday (9/6) in the pesantren yard.

Not only cooking, Bobon also shared enthusiasm and motivation to the students who aspire to become creator content. When asked about the meaning of becoming a content creator, he answered straightforwardly that the best content creator was useful.

The enthusiasm of the santri was clearly visible throughout the event. One of the santri who was present also expressed his excitement to be able to witness Bobon’s cooking action in the cottage. “Very happy! The thing is usually only see on Youtube, now you can see directly and crowded with other santri friends,” he said.

The “Cooking Together” event is the result of AirNav Indonesia’s collaboration with Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, as a form of positive synergy between the world of pesantren education and the national industrial sector. Not only as entertainment, this event is also a means of learning about cooperation, togetherness, and creativity.
