Tebuireng.online— Tsanawiyah Madrasah Working Group (KKMTS) Jombang Regency held a workshop with the theme “Implementation of Deep Learning Curriculum Based on Love and Child Friendly Schools” on Thursday (7/8/2025). This event lasted for two days in the 1st floor hall of the KH Building. Yusuf Hasyim, Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Jombang.
This workshop aims to provide training and strengthening competencies to certified teachers from 10 Madrasas of KKMTS members in Jombang Regency. Around 90 participants attended the activity.
The first day activity was attended by important figures such as the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Jombang Regency, Dr. Muhajir, S.Pd., M.Ag, and KKMTS Supervisor, Dr. Imroatus Sholihah, S.Pd., M.Pd. Meanwhile, on the second day, the workshop session will be guided by Umi Mahmudah, S.Pd., M.Pd, a national facilitator in a child -friendly school program.
Daud Ubaidillah Habibi, a representative from MTs Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Tebuireng as the Secretariat of the activity, explained the reason for the selection of the workshop location in Tebuireng.

“Incidentally the head of the KKMTS currently comes from MTs Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Tebuireng, so there is a proposal to hold an event here, precisely in the hall of the 1st floor of KH. Yusuf Hasyim Building,” he said.

He also expressed hope that the participants could bring home knowledge that was useful and immediately implemented it in their respective madrasas.
“The hope of this activity is that participants gain a deep understanding of implementation Deep learningLove -based learning, and the application of child -friendly school principles, so that it can be applied directly in their madrasa environment, “he added.
KKMTS Jombang also emphasized that this kind of workshop will be an annual routine agenda. The workshop will continue to be given to certified teachers as a form of adaptation to the curriculum and education programs that continue to develop, both under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
