Bangkara Barat Anniversary, Ziaari Ziarahi Teburoh Teburiation accompanied

Tebuireng.online— In commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of Bhayangkara, the Head of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M. Si., Held a pilgrimage agenda to the tombs of the presidents and the founders of the nation. On Wednesday (6/25/2025) the National Police Chief and his entourage visited the Tomb of Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari and KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), who was accompanied by the caregiver of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, KH. Abdul Hakim Machfudz, Governor of East Java, Dr. (HC.) Hj. Khofifah Indar Parawansa, East Java Regional Police Chief, and Pangdam V Brawijaya.

The arrival of the National Police Chief and his entourage was warmly welcomed by all Dzurriyah Pesantren Tebuireng, Jombang Vice Regent and Jombang Police Chief. As a symbolic, Yai Kikin welcomed with flowers to police general Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The event continued by sprinkling flowers in the tomb of Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari and KH. Abdurrahman Wahid.

Another purpose of this event was to connect silaturrahim in Ndalem Kasepuhan who was directly met by the caregiver of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, KH. Abdul Hakim Machfudz, H. Abdul Ghofar as the Main Secretary of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, and several Dzuriyah Pesantren. In addition, this event was also attended by Sawung Agus Basuki as the Head of Cukir Village, KH. Salmanudin Yazid as Deputy Regent of Jombang, and Agus Sholihudin as Diwek Sub -District Head.

“Devotion from Gus Dur when he became a lot of president was a lot of contribution. Not only to the people, but also contributed a lot to the police,” explained Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Responding to this, Gus Kikin explained that Gus Dur was because he was a descendant of KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari who is a unifying figure of the people. Gus Dur’s services were inseparable from the role of his grandfather, KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari. What’s more KH. Wahid Hasyim, the father of Gus Dur who since young has been active for Indonesia, especially when he was a member of BPUPKI with the first MIAI chairman at that time.

“KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari at that time met with many elements whose aim was for Indonesian unity and independence by removing all the differences,” explained the caregiver of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School.

This finally ignited the enthusiasm of Indonesian fighters and independence. Then Gus Kikin gave a memento to the Head of the National Police Chief in the form of a book of his work entitled Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari: Indonesian Muslims.

“It is the spirit of unity that can be accepted by Gus Dur and used as a behavior that is able to embrace everything. So that the National Police who can carry out innovation and develop until now cannot be separated from the efforts of KH. Abdurrahmah Wahid.” Concluded the Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
