The Messenger of Allah has given guidance to follow the procedures for praying that he has demonstrated, but the fact is that in everyday life we ​​have found that is not in accordance with what the Prophet expressed. Quran as Kalamullah is a perfect book and has predicted this since 14 centuries ago. There are several characteristics or models of human prayer, this characteristic is a representation of all models of human prayers that exist throughout the world. There are at least 4 characteristics of human prayer according to the view of the Koran, including:

1. Drunk/unconscious (Highest – QS. An-Nisa [4]: 43)

Oh, those who are safe, not close to prayer, and you are sugar until you know what you are saying …

It means: “O people who believe, don’t approach prayer while you are drunk until you are aware of what you say …”

Textually words highest In this verse is drunk in the true sense. But there are also opinions of interpretation scholars who provide different opinions.

According to Imam Al-Qurthubi Kata highest means drunk caused by drinking khamr until the loss of consciousness. He also quoted another opinion from Imam Ad-Dahhaq bin Muhazim who was of the view that the loss of consciousness was intended due to drowsiness that caused a person to digress in his prayer. In addition, according to ‘Ubaidah al-Salmani also said that the loss of consciousness was due to the dying of holding back wind or defecation.

Imam Ghazali in this book Ihya Ulumiddin itself holds the word highest This means the loss of concentration due to doubt in the heart and excessive love of the world. Imam Ath-Thabari also explained that Lafaz highest This cannot necessarily only be understood with the meaning of crazy or unconscious, because basically the prayer command does not apply to crazy people and people who lose their minds.

2. Lazy (Fast – QS. An-Nisa [4]: 142)

Hypocrites deceived God, and he was deceived, and when they rose to prayer, they went up to people, they saw people, and they did not remember.

It means: “Indeed, hypocrites deceived God, and God answered their tricks. And when they support their prayers, they stand lazily. They mean riya (with prayer) before humans. And they do not mention God except a little.”

The characteristics of hypocrites in prayer are clearly visible based on this verse and lazy is one of them. Second, prayer because Riya want to be praised by humans who see it. Third, they are very few in remembering God. Anyone who is included in one of these characteristics is included in the hypocrites. People who are lazy to do prayer have become common knowledge that we have widely witnessed everyday.

3. InnateInability – QS. Al-Ma’un [107]: 5)

Those who come from their prayers

It means: “(Ie) people who are negligent in their prayers.”

According to Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS) negligent in this verse contains two meanings, namely the first, negligent because it leaves the prayer command. Second, negligent when performing prayers such as not solemn ‘, the mind is floating, the eyes do not look at the place of prostration and so forth.

Meanwhile Al-Hafidz Imam Ibnu Kathir gives the characteristics of people who are negligent in prayer that is first, likes to delay to end it before the next prayer time. Second, ignoring the valid and pillars of prayer and finally, not solemn ‘and does not appreciate the meaning of prayer reading.

4. Calm and scared (Solemn ‘ – QS. Al-Mukminunn [23]: 1-2)

Solemn ‘ Language means fear, meaning someone who does the prayer of his heart is filled with hope and fear only to God. Solemn ‘ In prayer is a very difficult problem, if anyone can do it included in people with perfect faith. Especially for the public or converts, of course, it is not possible.

Sheikh ‘Ala’udin Ali bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Baghdadi in the Book of Interpretation Al-Khazin think about solemn ‘ is the focus of concentrating and turning all the cases apart from remembering God in the form of reading prayer and dhikr.

Imam Ghazali in this book Ihya ‘ Then explained that it is impossible for someone to present a heart in all his prayer movements. At least someone can solemn ‘ Remembering God as much as possible even if only for a moment, then that was enough for him.
