From between the Prophets and Apostles

It is important to know the good given by God who is Almighty to the Prophets and Apostles, as the main lesson at the same time as the example in filling human life, so that humanity will be avoided from a misguided path and keep the way directly to the pleasure of Allah. From one generation to the next, the Prophets and Apostles are to improve human life, from the Prophet Adam to the last time the Prophet.

First Caliph on Earth

The Prophet Adam as the first caliph on earth which was directly enshrined in the Holy Qur’an, is an important lesson that must be held firmly by the next generation, especially the current generation when the prophets and apostles are gone. A hope wherever and whenever the leaders or caliphs should refer to the rules or patterns of life as taught by Allah SWT, especially to the Prophet Adam when the Prophet Adam will be the first caliph on earth. This is explained through the word of Allah SWT to Surah Al-Baqarah/2 verse 30-32,

And when your lord is said to the angel, I am in the land of the earth with your preise and cantify you, he said that I know what you do not know and know that all of them are all of them and then they are on the authority in the name of these people, Know you, but we are not what you have taught us, but you are the knowledge

Remember when your Lord said to the angels: “I really want to make the caliph on earth”. They said: “Why do you want to make (Caliph) on earth that will make blood and shed blood, when we always praise you and purify you?”

God said: “I really know what you don’t know.” And he taught Adam’s names (objects) throughout, then present it to the angels and say: “Make me the names of those things if you are right!” They answered: “Glory for you, we do not need to be known other than what you have taught us; (QS Al-Baqarah/2: 30-32).

Wahbah Mushthafa Az-Zuhaili gives the following verse description as follows: “The story or dialogue that occurs between Allah Ta’ala and its angels, this is a parable, by displaying abstract meaning in the form of things that are easily understood. He learns language that is not known by the angels.

In a brief interpretation of the Qur’an al-Karim published the Al-Qur’an Manuscripts in the following information: “And remember, O messengers, one story when your Lord said to the angels,” I want to make the caliph, a man who will be the leader and ruler, on earth. “Caliph will continue to change from generation to generation until the end of the day to preserve this earth and carry out God’s commands in the form of religious beliefs or duties.

They said, “Do you want to make people who have the will or endeavor in doing one job so that it has the potential to damage and shed blood there by killing each other, while we praise you and purify your name. Angels assume that they are worthy said, “Really, I know what you don’t know” (Lajnah Penttthahihan Al-Qur’an Manuscripts, 17: 2016).

Further informed, “Human creation is a great plan of God in this world. God knows that in humans there are negative things as worried by angels, but the positive aspects are far more. From this it can be taken lessons that a large plan that has great benefit should not fail only because of fears of smaller negative elements of the big plan”

There are some very interesting things from the source information above, namely:

1. How high that God glorifies humans, by Adam who was chosen as the caliph on earth and he learned language that was unknown to the angels.

This is in line with the word of Allah the Almighty in Surah Al-Isra ‘/17 verse 70,

We have respected us with the sons of Adam, and we brought it into the right and the sea, and they were blessed with them from goodness, and we would be blessed. Fallem

And indeed we have blessed the children of Adam, we brought them on land and in the ocean, we gave them fortune from goodness and we put them with perfect benefits for most of the creatures we had created.

M Quraish Shihab gives: “And we (Allah) swear that in fact we have glorified Adam’s children and grandchildren, with good body shape, the ability to speak and think, and knowledge and we also give them the freedom to choose and sort out. And we transport them on the mainland and in the ocean with various means of transport that we created and bowed to them, or what we inspired them to make it, so that they could explore the earth and the sky for all of them.

And we also give them fortune from good according to their needs, more delicious and beneficial for the physical growth and development of their souls and we give them more about creatures from whom we have created with perfect advantages. We greet them from animals, with reason and creativity, so that they become responsible creatures. We are more obedient to them over angels because of human obedience through the struggle against demons and lust, while obedience to angels without challenges. And so on and many others (Shihab, 513: 2004).

Then there are interesting things too, need to be examined textually and contextually related to the above verse, where Surah Al-Isra ‘was revealed in Mecca telling the grace of Allah SWT given to Adam’s children and grandchildren, “… we transport them on land and in the ocean …”, giving a strong signal of information that one of them is related to Indonesia as a maritime country, where Indonesia has geographical characteristics that are dominated by ocean and have a greater area the land area.

While in Mecca we know that there is no ocean, all of the land of Mount Batu barren land, this thought of the writer’s mind related to the history of the Prophet Adam himself and his descendants at the beginning of the beginning, which is most likely in Indonesia, moreover there is a source that explains that in Mount Padang there is the oldest pyramid in the world in the Sunda level located in the Cianjur area of ​​West Java, not in Mesopotamia or Ancient Egypt. There is even a strong suspicion, the time of the Prophet Adam AS until the Prophet Noah was likely to be still in Indonesia, precisely in Mount Padang Cianjur, only after the flash floods throughout the world, from the descendants of the Prophet Noah and his friends who survived, developed Middle Eastern history and other worlds.

2. Human creation is God’s great plan in this world.

A reflection for all of us that Allah SWT has created humans ranging from the Prophet Adam and Siti Eve, then humans continue to breed, which until now has been more than 8 billion. How to keep us aware and able to defend ourselves as a human being that God has glorified, to submit to obedient and worship only to God.
