Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School Holds Haflah Graduation at SD and SLTP

Tebuireng.online- Saturday (05/24/2025) Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School held a Graduation Haflah Elementary and SLTP. The activity took place from 07.00 – 13.00 WIB in the Wahid Hasyim High School Field with the theme of Building the Character of Santri for Earth Pertiwi. The event was attended by 795 graduates, including from the education unit; SDI Tebuireng, SMP AWH, MTs. SS Tebuireng, MTs. SS Kesamben, and Junior High School Science.

On the remarks, the Chairperson of the KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari, Dr. Ir. H. Rifki Efendi Hardijanto, said that his scope was not only a matter of religion, but there was non -religious knowledge. However, humans need more morals even though knowledge is little.

“We want the students to form their characters in accordance with the five basic principles of Tebuireng, including, sincere, honest, responsibility, hard work, tolerance,” he hoped.

Then proceed with the mandate of the Caretaker of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School by KH. Abdul Hakim Machfudz. He said that the development of knowledge was increasingly broad, and Tebuireng continued to float educational materials and levels of education, regardless of it, Tebuireng also still maintains classical teaching by establishing Mah’ad Aly, from the level of Marhalah Ula, Marhalah Tsaniyah and designing for the next level, Marhalah Tsalitsah.

The next event includes the best student appreciation of the three best people per unit, scientific lecture by Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Nuh, DEA, the graduation and sungkem procession of the guardians of students and finally closed with prayer by KH. Ahmad Syakir Ridwan, Lc.

David Sugiarto S.Pd., M.Sc as the Chairperson of Haflah Aknik Sanah 2025 said that this graduation was different from the previous graduation, because there was a procession of Sungkem graduates with student guardians, this would give a good impression to the student guardians.

“We have made a simulation and prepared well, starting from the graduates being called to the front of the stage, then descending to sungkem to the mother, continued the mother and the graduate Sungkem to the father then returned to their respective chairs.” he said

In addition, there is an impression of the Cikal Nada, one of the graduates from the Science Middle School unit hopes that the knowledge gained can be applied in the future.

“Very happy, touched, and proud of yourself for completing education for three years in Tebuireng,” he said.
