O my sister, reflect and observe! Below are some of the doubts of women who refuse to wear the hijab, as well as their objections in short and concise sentences.

When a woman without a hijab says: I love Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, and that’s enough!

We answer:

“Say (O Muhammad), ‘If you love Allah, follow me, Allah will love you and forgive your sins.’ Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (QS. Ali Imran: 31).

When it is said: This religion is easy!

We answer:

“Allah desires ease for you and does not desire hardship.” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 185).

In fact, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala ordered wearing the hijab to provide convenience.

When he said: Not wearing the hijab is just a trivial matter!

We answer:

“(Remember) when you received (fake news) from mouth to mouth, you said with your mouth what you did not know in the slightest, and you considered it trivial, even though in Allah’s sight it was a big problem.” (QS. An-Nur: 15).

When he said: I am still young, and one day I will wear the hijab when I am old.

We answer: Death does not recognize whether you are young or old.

When she said: I will wear the hijab after marriage.

We answer:

“Indeed, a servant is deprived of his sustenance because of the sin he committed.” (HR. Imam Ahmad in his book Al-Musnad No. 22438). It could be that you will be prevented from getting married due to this immorality.

When she said: My husband doesn’t like me wearing the hijab.

We answer:

“There is no obedience to creatures if they do not obey the Creator.” (HR. Al-Baghawi in his book Sharh As-Sunnah No. 2455. Authenticated by Al-Albani in his book Al-Misykah Number 3696).

When she said: I will wear the hijab when I am ready to wear the hijab.

We answer:

“It is inappropriate for believers and unbelievers, when Allah and His Messenger have determined a sustenance, then for them there will be (another) choice regarding their affairs. Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then indeed he has gone astray in clear error.” (QS. Al-Ahzab: 36).

When she said: The hijab actually makes it difficult for me when working and teaching.

We answer: A woman’s self-respect is greater than everything, and the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala and His heaven is far more expensive than everything. How many working women wear the hijab without being bothered by the hijab, so the hijab and work are not mutually exclusive.

When he said: I am afraid of being ridiculed by people.

We answered: Indeed, you should be proud and rewarded. Even the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam received ridicule from people, even though that was the way of the Prophets and pious people.

As she said: The air is hot, I can’t stand it if I have to wear the hijab.

We answer:

“Say (O Muhammad), ‘The fire of Hell is hotter.'” (QS. At-Taubah: 81).

When he said: There are also many people like this, who do not wear the hijab.

We answer: By Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, this is the worst speech from the inhabitants of hell. Mentioned in the Qur’an:

“Likewise, when We sent a warner before you (Prophet Muhammad) to a country. The people who lived in luxury (in that country) always said, ‘Indeed, we found our ancestors adhered to a (religion) and we only followed in their footsteps'” (QS. Az-Zukhruf: 23).

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala also said:

“If you follow (the will of) most people (infidels) on this earth (in matters of religion), they will surely lead you astray from God’s path. They only follow mere conjecture and they only make things up.” (QS. Al-An’am: 116).

When he said: Cleanliness of the heart is more than just wearing the hijab

Our answer: If the heart is clean, then the body parts will be consistent in obedience. Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam:

“Know that in the body there is a lump of flesh, if it is good then the whole body is good, but if it is damaged then the whole body is damaged. Know that this lump of flesh is the heart.” (HR. Imam Al-Bukhari No. 52 and Imam Muslim No. 1599).

When she said: If I wear the hijab, people will accuse me of being affiliated with a certain group or party, even though I don’t like that.

We answer: In the Islamic religion there are only two groups mentioned by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala in the Qur’an Al-Karim, the first is the Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala group, and they are people who carry out His commands and stay away from His prohibitions. The second is the group of Satan, and they are people who disobey Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala’s orders. Therefore, think about it, do you want to be a lover of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala or a lover of Satan?
