Is Tuyul true? – Consultantisyariah.com

Question:

Ustadz, is tuyul true? I heard the story from my friend that the money was lost alone at home. Even though stored in a locked cupboard. Please explain.

Answer:

Alhamdulullyah, Ash-Shalaku Isasalasu ‘ala Raselllah, W’ Ali Godi Wa Man,

Tuyul is a creature from the genie who is believed by our society that he likes to steal human money. In the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), it is stated that tuyul is a spirits that are said to be a bare -headed boy, can be governed by people who maintain it to steal money and so on.

That the tuyul is bald or a child in the form of a child, even though A’lam, this is not necessarily true. Because the nature of jinn can indeed appear in other forms. Then it could be like that or other form.

But about the existence of jinn who likes to steal human property, then this is true. As the presence of humans who like to steal human property.

In the Sahih al-BukhariIn the hadith of Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu anhu, It says:

And God’s messengers, hopefully God’s prayers and peace are on him, entrust me by memorizing Ramadan zakat, so he comes to me, so he will make them look for food, so I take it and say: and God blesses you. And peace, he said: I am a person who needs it, and I have a child, and I have a severe need, he said: I leave from him, so I become, and the Prophet, hopefully God’s prayer and peace is above him, said: yesterday? He said: I said: o God’s messenger, they complained about severe and familiar needs, and I had mercy

“The Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam once assigned me to defend the zakat of Ramadan (zakat fitrah). Then the figure came, then he spilled zakat food and tried to steal it. Then he said,” I was really desperate. I have a family and I have a lot to do. “Abu Hurairah said,” I let him go. “So in the morning, the Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam said to me:” O Abu Hurairah, what did your prisoners do last night? “I replied,” o God’s messenger, he complained to me that he was in a state of needs and he had a family. Because of that, I was very pity for him that I released him. “The Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam said,” he had lied to you and he would come back again. “

Long hadith. At the end of the hadith, the Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam said:

He said: A Devil

Know that he is a devil (HR. Al-Bukhari no. 2311).

Al-Hafizh Ibn Hajar Rahimahullah When explaining the benefits of the hadith above:

And they speak with human words

“That the jinn can talk like a way of human speech. And they can steal and cheat.” (Fathul Bari4/489).

So the jinn that used to steal human property did exist. However, keep in mind that jinn is also exposed to the burden of the Shari’a. So that when he stole human property, he sinned and threatened to go to hell. Allah Ta’ala say:

And we are among Muslims and from us who are masters. As for the ritual, they are soaked

“Jin said: And indeed, some of us obey and some deviate from the truth. Anyone who obeys, they really choose a straight path. Like those who deviate from the truth, they become firewood for hell.” (Surah Al-Jin: 14-15).

No need to be afraid and be careful with our property will be stolen by jinn. As long as someone is accustomed to remembering God, Jin can’t bother him. Practicing memories in the morning, memory of the bathroom, memory before eating, remembering and waking up, reading the Qur’an and other routine memories. Because memory is a strong protector from genital and magic disorders.

In the long hadith al-Parits al-Sas’ari Radhiyallahu Anhu, the Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam say:

And your command is to remember God, because for example the same as the person who comes out of the enemy in his influence, so that when he comes to his fort, he will come from them, and servants, it does not motivate himself from the devil except with the memory of God

I ordered you to remember many things. Such as someone who pursues his enemy quickly. Until then he came to the fort, and the fort took care of him from his enemies. Likewise, a servant, or no one can take care of servants except to remember God. “(Hours in Tirmidzi no. Sahih At-Tirmidzi).

The most memorable is reading a warning when entering the house and closing the door with Basmalah. Then Jin will not enter and will not stay at home.

By saying goodbye when you enter the house, the devil will not live there. From Jabir bin Abdillah Radhiyallahu Anhu, Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam say:

If the man entered his house, then God reminded him of him and for his food, Satan said: I did not see you, and there was no night, and not when he entered, the devil said: You have left the house, and when God does not remember when his food, he said: I had left the city center in the city center in the city center,

“If someone enters his house, then he should dhikr to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala when entering the house and also when he eats (at home). Then the devil will say (to his friends): ‘There is no place to stay for you and there is no food for you.’ If someone enters his house, without dhikr to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala when entering the house, then the devil will say (to his friends): ‘There is a place to stay for you.’ And if he does not dhikr when he wants to eat, then the devil will say (to his friends): ‘There is a place to stay and there is food for you.’ “(HR. Muslim no. 2018).

From Jabir bin Abdillah Radhiyallahu Anhu, Prophet Sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam said:

If that night is welded or not touching you, then they will be enough for you, because the devil will spread at that time, then if the time is lost, then the time is lost so that they close the door and remember the name of God, because the devil does not open the closed door that is closed closed

“If the day starts to be dark, hold your children (so as not to leave the house) because at that time the devil wandered. If it has passed in part of the night, then let them. Close the doors and say basmalah, because actually the devil will not be able to open a closed door.” (HR. Al-Bukhari no. 3280, Muslim no. 5218).

Wallahu a’lam, may Allah Ta’ala give a typhoon.

Walhamdulillahi alamin, ablution Alamin, Washahihibhin wa ‘Al Ali Alhi
